Jessica Farkas is a TV news producer and freelance writer who you can just call Jess. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in cultural anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2006 she fulfilled a lifelong dream by spending a summer in Africa. There she studied Pan Africanism and the Twi language at the University of Ghana, and volunteered at Osu Children’s Home. Jess has ambitions to visit the Middle East and is currently studying Arabic. Her ultimate goal is to become an international correspondent or field producer. When she’s not working towards that, she’s likely watching documentaries with her dog Yoshi, preparing for a zombie apocalypse, or daydreaming about her next adventure.
